UNUSUAL PIN DISHES GERMAN EAST AFRICA - ZANZIBAR

A “Matched Pair” of pin dishes or possibly ashtrays
Made of copper approx 3.5” across
Both set with a central coin in the base .
One being from German East Africa & dated 1892
The other being from Zanzibar
Both were obviously made together
So I’m assuming both coins are of a similar age
Unusual items in good collectable condition
If only they could talk !
