COMMERCIALLY PRODUCED PICKELHAUBE MATCHBOX COVER
WW1 Pickelhaube matchbox cover
Made of thin pressed brass
The Pickelhaube being embossed to the front
With floral decoration to the spine
I believe these were made in France during WW1
To sell to Allied troops as “Souvenirs “
A little rubbed with some minor corrosion
But a good honest item (See pictures)
That would sit well in any WW1 cabinet / collection
