Very Rare Soviet Insignia -
“Badge of Glory for the Soviet Soldier “
Extremely detailed made of white metal & enamel
Approx 1.5” x 1” in size
A very complicated design-
I’m not even going to try to describe it
(Hopefully the photos will show it properly)

2000 of these badges were produced in 1948
By the Moscow mint
For the 30th anniversary of the Soviet Army
These were attached to folders
That held Anniversary paperwork & documents
For high ranking officers and soldiers of distinction.

This example still has both blades to the reverse
A rare survivor and not often seen for sale.
Excellent quality and very collectible.
