Appears to be made of bronze
Then being chrome plated .
In good honest condition.
Some lifting - missing chrome (mainly to the back )
With original rain and hook fixing .
Honest seldom seen Home Front badge .

Organisation was formed in 1942
Being open to young women aged 11- 20 years old
Teaching them basic drill, aircraft recognition
Morse Code , semaphore , aviation,first aid etc
As well as helping in the War effort
Collection bottles, acting as ARP messengers etc .
