RAF POLICE ARMBAND WITH ONE PIECE FS TYPE BADGE ATTACHED

WW2 / Post War RAF Police Armband
Made of black - blue Cotton canvas type material
With a central Red Felt band ,
And embroidered lettering R.A.F.P.
With affixed RAF one piece officers badge
As sometimes seen on side caps etc
This has two rear loops and is held by a split pin.
The holes in the armband to take the badge loops
Are machine finished not just pushed through.
So I’m assuming this would be an officers issue item.
Adjustable rear push button fixings
(One partially detached but still holding on)
A good honest example of this armband.
General wear and ageing to the material.
Including some minor moth nips to the Red Felt.
All in all a nice addition to any collection
