IMPERIAL GERMAN 71/84 DRESS BAYONET ,SCABBARD & FROG

Imperial German 71/84 Dress or Walking out bayonet
Complete with correct pattern scabbard & frog.
Nice quality single edged plated blade
With knights head makers mark- Kirschbaum
Dating this to 1883 when the company merged
With Weyersburg forming WKC .
Plated (But slightly dull )cross guard & pommel
With a working push button
Shaped wooden grips held by plated rivets
(Some minor damage to the grips as per photos)
Hard black leather scabbard with plated mounts
(Some loss to the leather patent type surface)
Complete in original Brown leather scabbard
All in all a scarce dress bayonet & not often seen
Some minor imperfections as noted
But nothing to detract from the item .
A good addition to any collection
Just needs the appropriate dress knot !
