P17 BAYONET , SCABBARD & HG FROG

First World War US M1917 Bayonet & Scabbard .
With later British Home Guard leather frog.

Bayonet in untouched as found condition
With some old fine surface rust
Blade with some age related discolouration

Blade marked -
US flaming grenade, Eagles head and number 21
Other side Remington roundel & 1917.

Dark wood groves wooden grips held by screw bolts

Complete with an original leather scabbard
(Steel top & bottom mounts )
Brass belt hooks and leather belt mount.
The leather frog is made by B.H.& G & dated 1940
Frog has been waxed or oiled at some stage.

US marked and issued
But appears issued to British Home Guard in WW2

A good honest straight out of the woodwork bayonet
