Good Original WW1 Derby Scheme Armband
Khaki Armband , with applied Red felt crown
Stamped inside -
“ISSUED UNDER AUTHORITY OF THE ARMY COUNCIL “ with its issue number
With original Zinc button rear fixings
Some minor moth (As can be seen in the pictures)
Folded & buttoned up as found ,
Could easily be unbuttoned and ironed flat if required
Generally in good clean collectable condition

These were issued in 1915
To men who’d volunteered for military service
But weren’t yet in uniform .
Voluntary service ended in 1915
With full scale conscription being introduced in 1916
