Original WW1 period waxed cotton canvas arm band
Of the “ NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY “
Clear black printing on a white background
With its original large safety pin & issue number
Good clean collectable WW1 armband

These were worn by NER employees,
Porters etc & those not in uniform
Whilst dealing with the public & troop trains etc.
The NER ceased to exist in 1922
Latterly becoming part of the LNER
