Dates 1848 -1849 to the reverse ,
Along with Friedrich Wilhelm IV to the centre
With the wording around the edge
(Roughly translated as)
“Warriors Faithful until their Death”
With a good quality replacement ribbon.
Fairly scarce medal in good collectable condition.

The medal was established by King Friedrich Wilhelm IV on August 23, 1851, in connection with the House Order of Hohenzollern. It was created to honor officers and soldiers who remained faithful during the uprisings of 1848 and 1849. The Prussian army played a significant role not only in suppressing the rebellions within Prussia but also in Baden and Saxony.
