WW2 RAAF SLOUCH HAT - (IDENTIFIED OWNER)

WW2 RAAF Slouch hat.
Khaki (Non folded / pleated ) Pugaree band
With centrally mounted bronze RAAF cap badge
One side turned / folded up
(Held in place with hook & eye fixing)
Missing both liner & chin strap.
With two additional “ hooks “ sown inside .
My guess would be this was done to add a chinstrap.
Owners Service Number stamped inside in White
(Along with RAAF )

Showing it’s age , a bit grubby ,dusty
With some minor moth tracks .
But no holes splits or major damage.
Nothing at all that detracts from the item
All in all a good looking slouch hat
A nice addition to any collection
Even better being attributable to an individual.
