WWI / WW2 GERMAN WEHRPASS MILITARPASS GROUPING

A very nice WW1, WW2 document group to one man
Wilhelm Booz ,born 31/10/1894 in Irlich Germany

Consisting of his WW1 Militarpass
(Full of Entries )

A named November 1918 discharge Certificate

His WW2 / Third Reich Wehrpass
Again with numerous entries
( Including his WW1 service )

A Volkssturm call up paper (1944)

And a newspaper article written by Willi Booz
Whilst fighting in Poland 1940

A brief rundown of his service is below -

Served Western Front 1914-1918
In both the 89th Mecklenburg Grenadiers
As well as the 80th Infantry Regiment
A Decorated Combat Veteran.

He then served from 1935 - 1940
Including the invasion of Poland
(Being discharged from military service 05/07/1940 )

In November 1944 he was recalled to the Volkssturm
In the town of Neuwied (Rhineland)

What happened to this individual I’ve no idea.
The town fell to the Advancing US First Army
In late March early April 1945 ,
Part of Operation Lumberjack-
(The establishment of a Bridge head over the Rhine )

All in good readable condition
Plenty of research opportunities.
A nice WW1 / WW2 veterans grouping
