WW2 PRIVATE PURCHASE BAKELITE HELMET

WW2 Period Black Bakelite Helmet
No visible makers marks or dates etc.on the helmet
With just a paper 6 3/4 (Size label) on the liner
Liner appears unmarked & riveted in place
The Brown leather chinstrap also riveted in place

In as found condition (Straight out of a garage )
Chinstraps hard & cracked but still complete
May soften up with the correct leather treatment.
Generally dirty & dusty liners worn but complete
Liner & chinstrap rivets are rusted .
Would clean up well if someone took the time !
