Front with the bust of Emperor Karl
The last Ruler of the Austro Hungarian Empire
(1916-1918 when the Empire was abolished)
Reverse with “ Fortitudini” (For Courage)
This pattern of medal replaced an earlier version
As such can be dated to the 1917-1918 period
On original triangular Red & White striped ribbon
Complete with a separate and original ribbon bar
(Pop stud fixing , to be worn on a chest loop )
