BRITISH P14 LEATHER BELT WITH REAR STRAPS

Very scarce WWI P14 leather belt
Complete with its rear straps
These were often cut off for “Walking out”
You just don’t see them .
Belt is approximately 34” In length
With adjustable ends giving it a total length of 47.5”
Original brass snake buckle & brass fittings
Extremely well made , possibly private purchase
I can’t find any date or issue stamps anywhere
(I’ve not disturbed the folded ends maybe something underneath I don’t know)
Belt and straps have been blackened (Rifle Brigade?)
Belt and straps are still very supple ,
Only one area of cracking to the surface of the leather
It has been treated it’s stable & won’t tear /deteriorate
A very nice piece , difficult to find ,
And even more difficult to upgrade on.
