MATCHED PAIR OF AFRICAN DAGGERS (SENEGALESE )

Attractive pair of African ceremonial daggers
Dagger’s are approximately 9.25” long
With a multi piece coloured shaped horn grips
Unusual cross guards of stylised elephant head form
Curved double edged blades with brass bolsters
Approximately 4.5” long
Complete with brass scabbards
Decorated with a raised triangular section ,
As well as geometric line engraving.
Only fault that I can find is -
The grips are slightly loose ,
As in there’s slight movement in the individual parts
This I believe is just down to their construction
Rather than any damage

Very unusual, attractive little daggers ,
