WW2 JAPANESE ARMY PEAKED CAP IN TRANSIT BOX

Pre War - Wartime Japanese Army Officers cap
Green wool body / crown,
With red piping & cap band
Gilt metal star and chrysanthemum side buttons.
Black patent leather peak and chin strap.
(Some crazing to the peak ,but it’s totally stable)
Black leather sweat band
With full dark blue / black liner
With embroidered Japanese characters (Name ?)
Some slight moth “Nips” / damage
With slight distortion to the cap body
But nothing to detract from the item itself
(Distortion could possibly be steamed or stuffed out)
Complete in its original hard brown cardboard case.
A really nice addition to any WW2 Militaria collection
With German kit becoming more and more expensive
Japanese items are a good future investment.
