17” single edged fullered & bright blade

With its steel mounted Black leather scabbard
Top mount with circular frog stud

S294 marked 1907’s were an Admiralty contract
Not for the SMLE but for the Lanchester SMG
87,600 were ordered from Wilkinson Sword
Unusual to have a 1944 dated blade,
Most encountered are dated 1943 .

Bayonet & Scabbard are in good honest condition
A nice example & good addition to any collection.
