IMPERIAL GERMAN DRESS TUNIC

Imperial German Blue dress tunic.
Appears to have been altered during its working life
Possibly re issued to the German Postal service.
The stand up red collar has had edge braid removed
There’s also a small mark on each side of the collar
Where the rank buttons were removed
The shoulder boards may also be old replacements
Slightly different colour to the collar and cuffs
Single breasted with 8 x copper gilt buttons
3 x similar buttons to each cuff
With 2 x on the shoulders & 6 on the back
Fully lined inside - See pictures
Including one for the Berlin Post Office
A really nice looking tunic
In very good condition
With minimal damage very minor moth (If any )
Could be restored back to it’s original state
Or left as is.
Either way displays very well indeed
