1886 PATTERN LEBEL BAYONET & FROG

1st type French Lebel bayonet
With non removable white metal hilt (German Silver)
(Some age discolouration to one side )
Full quillion , with working push button locking ring
20.5” tapered Cruciform blade
With blackened tubular scabbard.
Non matching numbers on bayonet & Scabbard
But matching age patina
Complete with correct brown leather frog .
Some crazing to the leather but it’s solid and stable
The only “Downside “ is the buckle strap is missing
This could easily be replaced - repaired.
A good honest bayonet in as found condition.
Nice addition to any collection.
