Pommel with working push stud & with oil hole
Wooden grips held by screw bolts
17” single edged fullered blade
(Some sharpening and “greying “ to the blade )
Inspection marks one side
(Including 23 for a 1923 arsenal refurbishment)
The other marked -
1907 WILKINSON 7-16 as well as 39
(1939 re issue date marking )
In its steel mounted Black leather scabbard
Top mount with tear shaped frog stud
Fitted with a green 1937 pattern frog.
Bayonet & Scabbard are in good honest condition
Some shallow cut marks to the scabbard leather
(Should be able to remove most with a hot spoon)
Otherwise no real faults
A nice example of a WW1 bayonet reissued in WW2
Make a good addition to any collection.
