With a 12.5” unfullered blade
Ground to a double edge 4” before the tip
Cross guard with double muzzle ring
(Enabling it to fit both the 1888 & 1898 type rifles)
Also marked with Imperial German acceptance stamp
Hilt with oil hole & small birds beak Pommel
With a fully functional push button
Contained in its all steel scabbard

Cleaned bright at some point in the past
Scabbard shows some minor pitting in places
Along with some age darkening
A good honest example of a WW1 Ersatz bayonet.
