Soviet Order of Labour Glory (2nd Class)
A large silver,gilt and enamel award,
The front, having a raised depiction of a factory
Against a blue enamel background
Overlaid with a gilt hammer and sickle,
And Cyrillic inscription of “LABOUR GLORY”
Topped by a five-pointed red enamelled star,
With red enamelled banner & CCCP in gilt
Flanked by gilt wheat stalks.
The back having a raised maker’s mark,
Two rivets and engraved with the issue number.
On its ribbon and pin back mounting plate.
Along with its dark red / maroon award booklet

This was a very high civilian award in Soviet Russia
For Great Labour services to the USSR
It encompassed numerous areas including-
Production,Science,Culture, Education etc
Came in three classes with over 1.2 million awarded
But only 41,218 2nd class .
