WW2 INDIAN MK11* LEE ENFIELD BAYONET

Outstanding Indian MK11* Bayonet & Scabbard
12” un- fullered blade with 2.25” clip point - false edge
Marked one side with small acceptance stamps
The other marked-
MK11* , 11 - 43 , JU
November 1943 - Jhelum Arsenal (Now in Pakistan)
With undamaged polished wooden grips
Working push stud & pommel with oil hole .
Complete in its steel mounted leather scabbard
Leather body is maker / arsenal marked
(But unfortunately I can’t quite make out the details )
Though the top mount is clearly dated 1942 .
Both bayonet and scabbard mounts are heavily blued
In almost mint condition.
A difficult bayonet to upgrade.
As such an excellent addition to any collection.
